Christopher Adekunle is an accomplished leader in the waste management sector with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Southern Waste Solutions since March 2022, Christopher oversees waste management services across Tasmanian communities. Prior experience includes strategic business development at Cleanaway Waste Management, branch management of waste and resource recovery for Brisbane City Council, and senior management roles in waste operations at Town of Port Hedland. Christopher's career also includes significant contributions to Veolia Australia and New Zealand and Waste Audit & Consultancy Services, as well as project management in public services at Accenture. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Development Economics and International Development from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Politics from the University of Greenwich.
