Leroy Davis is an experienced professional with a diverse background in academia and consultancy. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Economics and Finance at Southern University since September 2005, Leroy has contributed through teaching, research, and grant writing. As the President and Chief Operating Officer of Davis and Associates Consultants, LLC since November 2004, Leroy specializes in project management, design, and implementation, with expertise in university and local government administration, as well as economic and community development. Additionally, Leroy served as a Board Member at Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge for a brief period in early 2017. Leroy holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, obtained between 1967 and 1972.
