Jay Owens is a seasoned professional in the construction and sales industries, currently serving as a Senior Sales Representative at Southern Staircase since March 2021, focusing on customer relationship management and development in the Central and Eastern North Carolina market. Jay previously held key roles at Royal Oak Stairs from January 2015 to July 2021, where responsibilities included administration, sales, and ownership as a shareholder, following a successful sale to Southern Staircase. Earlier experience includes owning and operating Carolina Contractor Sales, LLC, which specialized in millwork sales from April 2009 to March 2015, as well as various roles including purchasing and outside sales at Southern Staircase from 2003 to 2009. Jay holds a B.S. in Supply Chain Management with a focus in Logistics, Marketing, and Economics from North Carolina State University, obtained in 2003.
