Roberta Patterson, SHRM-SCP, has over 18 years of extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as the Director of Human Resources and Labor Relations at Southern Nuclear since September 2010. In this role, Roberta is responsible for HR practices and strategies at a complex nuclear construction site, directly managing a project that employs up to 8,000 contractors in a highly regulated environment. Previous roles include Fleet HR Manager overseeing HR initiatives across four nuclear plant sites, Site HR Manager at Plant Vogtle, and leading talent acquisition for the Vogtle 3&4 project. Earlier experience includes strategic recruitment roles at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and leadership at Axiom Staffing Group. Roberta holds an MBA in Marketing from Louisiana Tech University and a BA from Augusta State University.
