Annalise Porter is an Associate Public Affairs Analyst at the Southern Nevada Water Authority since January 2022, contributing to legislative policy efforts that enhance water resource stewardship and resilience in Nevada and the Colorado River basin, notably working on Assembly Bill 220 during the 2023 legislative session. Prior to this role, Annalise served as a Senior Markets Editor at ICIS for over seven years, specializing in the fertilizer industry's North American sulphur and sulphuric acid markets, providing in-depth analysis on market conditions. Additional experience includes positions as Communications Intern at the New Mexico Office of the State Engineer and Research Assistant at The University of New Mexico, where Annalise focused on land use and agricultural irrigation policy research. Annalise's earlier career includes reporting for the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Annalise holds a Master's degree in Water Resources Policy & Management from The University of New Mexico and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Media Studies from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
