Becca Schmitz is a Financial & Planning Analyst II at Southern Minnesota Municipal Power Agency since March 2019, responsible for financial performance modeling and managing the agency's annual operating and capital budget. Previously, in the role of Planning Analyst, Becca performed generation resource planning functions and assisted with financial forecasting. Prior experience includes serving as a Finance and Human Resource Specialist at Smart Data Solutions, where Becca managed employee files and accounting records, and roles in various organizations including Winona State University as Central Imaging Lead, Express Scripts as an Account Management Services Intern, and Sunburst Chemicals as an Office Assistant and Finance Intern. Becca holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Winona State University, completed in 2017.
