Marcia has been with SMIF in the lending area since 2005. Her primary responsibilities include working with the Small Enterprise Loan Program, Minnesota Emerging Entrepreneur Loan Program, and the Grow a Farmer Fund. Marcia enjoys helping businesses in SMIF’s 20-county region start up and/or grow. Marcia came to SMIF with 14 years of banking experience and a broad business background which included being a purchaser at two businesses in southern Minnesota.

She graduated with a degree in Agricultural Business Administration from the University of Minnesota. In addition, Marcia has added to her knowledge with courses such as CoreFour Business Planning and Profit Mastery and is a graduate of the Blandin Community Leadership Program. In the past Marcia has served on the Waseca-Le Sueur Regional Library Board of Trustees and since 2017 has been on the Northfield Enterprise Center Board of Trustees.
