John Holland has extensive experience in both nonprofit leadership and the paper industry. As a Member of the Board of Directors and Volunteer with the Southern Maine Agency on Aging since April 2009, John provides counseling on Medicare options through the State Health Insurance Counseling Program. Concurrently, John serves on the Board of Directors for The Center for Grieving Children, which supports children and families facing loss, including those from Portland's multicultural community. Prior to these roles, John had a longstanding career at Sappi Fine Paper from March 1972 until June 2010, where responsibilities included Director of Inside Sales & Customer Service for North America and Director of eCommerce Business Development. John is an alumnus of Westbrook College, now known as the University of New England.
