Dean Sloan is an experienced plant and operations manager with a strong background in chemical engineering, holding a BS degree from The University of Alabama. Since January 2013, Dean Sloan has been serving as Plant Manager at Southern Ionics Incorporated, overseeing operations at the Williamsport, MD facility and managing construction and equipment installation in collaboration with engineering firms and permitting authorities. Prior to this role, Dean Sloan was an Operations Manager at Southern Ionics Inc., supervising production and maintenance personnel and ensuring the safe operation of multiple production units. Additional experience includes serving as Production Superintendent at Rhodia, Inc., where Dean Sloan managed operations of a sulfuric acid regeneration unit, and as a Process Engineer at Haldor Topsoe, Inc., focusing on catalyst manufacturing processes.
