Sarah Sorrentino has extensive work experience in the medical and healthcare field. Sarah started their career as a Medical Technologist at Quest Diagnostics in 1999, where they worked until 2008. During this time, they gained experience and skills in medical technology.
In 2008, Sarah joined Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center as a Medical Technologist and later transitioned into the role of Director of Infection Control in 2019. Sarah held this position until May 2023 when they were promoted to the role of Vice President of Quality and Risk Management.
Sarah also worked as an Infection Preventionist at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada from August 2018 to July 2019. Prior to that, they were a Community Health Nurse at Southern Nevada Health District from April 2017 to August 2018.
Sarah'swork experience also includes being a Registered Nurse at Dignity Health from November 2015 to April 2017. In addition, Sarah served as an Adjunct Instructor at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College from August 2004 to May 2006.

Sarah Sorrentino has a diverse education history in the healthcare field. Sarah obtained their highest level of education in 2017 when they completed their Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Health Informatics from Grand Canyon University. Prior to this, in 2011, they obtained a Master of Science in Health Science with a specialization in Public Health from Trident University International.
Sarah also holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, which they obtained from Nevada State University between 2013 and 2015. Sarah initially pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Missouri Southern State University, completing it in 2006. Before their undergraduate studies, they attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, where they obtained an Associate of Science in Medical Lab Technology from 1996 to 1999.
In addition to their formal education, Sarah Sorrentino has earned several relevant certifications. Sarah is certified in Infection Control (CIC) by the CBIC (Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc.), which they obtained in October 2019. Sarah also holds the Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP-MLS) certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). Furthermore, they are a registered nurse, licensed by the State of Nevada.
