Gustavo Alca MSc, Eng. has extensive experience in electrical power systems, currently serving as Especialista en Electricidad de Sistema de Potencia at Southern Peru Copper Corporation since October 2013, focusing on predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance across 14 high-voltage substations. Previous roles include Planner de Mantenimiento at ABB, where responsibilities included coordinating personnel for high and medium voltage maintenance, and Coordinador de Obras Transmisión at Leveltec Peru SAC, overseeing multiple transformation substation projects. Additional experience encompasses supervision of construction and commissioning activities at COBRA Peru and maintenance roles at Skanska Peru S.A. and Edelnor. Gustavo holds a Master’s degree in Renewable Energies and Energy Sustainability from Universitat de Barcelona, along with various diplomas in project management and strategic planning from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
