Sloane Drake serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Southern Company, where responsibilities include leading health and wellness, talent management, labor relations, and HR delivery organizations for Georgia Power. With a career at Southern Company beginning in February 2001, Sloane has held various roles including Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Vice President of Human Resources, and Director of Human Resources, overseeing HR consulting services across multiple departments. Previous positions include Manager of Talent Management, HR Project Manager for Vogtle 3&4, and Recruiting Manager, focused on enhancing leadership development and recruitment strategy. Sloane began professional development with Georgia Power Company and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Georgia, along with prior education at Spelman College.
