David Cross has extensive experience in technology and IT management, currently serving as Director of Generation Technology Solutions at Southern Company since November 2015. Prior to this role, David held multiple positions at Children's of Alabama from March 2008 to November 2015, including Director of Information Technology and Manager of Information Technology. David's career also includes significant experience at AT&T, where positions ranged from Senior Analyst to Associate Director from November 1996 to March 2008. Additionally, David contributed to education as an Adjunct Professor at Jefferson State Community College from January 1999 to January 2001. David holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
