Nick Slappy currently serves as Vice President of Safety and Resource Management at Southern Company Gas since August 2020. Previously, Slappy held various management positions within Southern Company and its subsidiaries, including Plant Manager at Southern Company and O&M Manager at Georgia Power Company. Slappy's experience also includes roles such as Regional Planning Manager at Alabama Power Company and Maintenance and Engineer Manager at Georgia Power Company. Slappy is an alumnus of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and has furthered education through the Executive Leadership Academy at McKinsey & Company and Kellogg Executive Education.
