George Faatz has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. George started their career in 2006 as Chief of Staff at the Virginia House of Delegates, a position they held until 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as Manager of Legislative & Community Affairs at Virginia Natural Gas. George then served as Director of External Affairs at the same company from 2014 to 2017. From 2017 to 2023, they held the role of Director of Growth & Strategic Planning at Virginia Natural Gas. Currently, they are working as the Director of Market & Commercial Strategy at Southern Company Gas.

George Faatz completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from William & Mary - Raymond A. Mason School of Business in 2018. Earlier, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from George Mason University in 2007.
