Joe Calabrese is an experienced audio engineer with a career spanning multiple decades, currently serving at Southern California Sound Image since April 2011. Calabrese has extensive freelance experience as an audio engineer and tour/production manager, having worked with notable artists such as The Irish Tenors, Chris Young, and Gillian Welch, among others. Recent roles include monitor tech and RF coordinator for Keith Urban and radio frequency technician for Jetwave Wireless, LLC during the Times Square New Year’s Eve event. Calabrese also holds significant experience in broadcast audio, having served as Broadcast A2 for the 2022 CMT Awards. Previous roles include RF coordinator for Metallica and audio crew chief for Janet Jackson. Educational credentials include studies at Berklee College of Music and Full Sail University.
