Theodore Shybut, M.D. is an orthopedic surgeon with extensive experience in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. Currently serving as an orthopedic surgeon at Southern California Orthopedic Institute since February 2023, Theodore previously held the position of Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery/Sports Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine from August 2012 to December 2022. Experience includes roles at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System as an orthopedic surgeon and team physician for multiple high schools, as well as a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, where Theodore served as assistant team physician for prominent sports teams. Training included a residency at New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases, where Theodore participated in sports medicine care.
