Christopher Haraden has a diverse work experience. In 1987, they started working as an Editor/Contributing Writer for the Hull Times, where they directed the newsgathering operation and led their social media presence. Christopher also wrote news and opinion pieces on various topics. From 1992 to 2010, they worked as a Copy Editor/Reporter for various publications, including Boston Homes and Banker & Tradesman, covering real estate, urban planning, and community development. From 2005 to 2011, they co-owned Westwinds Bookshop, the oldest independent bookseller on the South Shore. In 2010, they joined Jack Conway & Co., Inc. as the Director of Education & Agent Services, where they enhanced recruitment and retention efforts and expanded enrichment programs for new agents and managers. In 2018, they became the Director of Finance and Operations at Southeastern Massachusetts Educational Collaborative, where they supervised various operational functions. Christopher also works as a Real Estate Broker/Certified Instructor at Christopher J. Haraden, REALTOR, providing consultation and representation for real estate transactions.
Christopher Haraden earned a Bachelor's degree in Metropolitan Studies (Public Policy/Administration) & Journalism from New York University in the years 1988-1992. Christopher is currently pursuing a Master of Education (MEd) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General at Worcester State University, with an expected completion date of 2022. In addition, Christopher has obtained various certifications including Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official, Real Estate Broker, Real Estate Instructor, and School Business Administrator.
