Matt Boyer is an accomplished professional in sports governance and compliance, currently serving as the Assistant Commissioner for the Southeastern Conference since January 2016. Prior to this role, Matt Boyer held multiple positions at The Summit League, including Associate Commissioner for Governance and Compliance, and Assistant Commissioner for Compliance from August 2010 to November 2015. Matt Boyer's career began in compliance internships at both Valparaiso University Athletics Department and Illinois State University Compliance Office between 2009 and 2010. Matt Boyer earned a law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law, completing the program in 2010.
