Suzanne Reid, MBA, serves as the Workforce Assistant Manager at Southeast Michigan Community Alliance since July 2019, overseeing program and grant management for college access and work-based learning initiatives, including Jobs for Michigan's Graduates and the Summer Young Professionals, benefiting over 460 low-income students. Previously, Suzanne held the position of Project Director at Career Transitions, Inc., where a college access summer program was developed for youth transitioning out of foster care, in partnership with the University of Michigan-Dearborn and the MI Department of Health and Human Services. Additional experience includes managing operations at Employment & Training Designs, Inc., recruitment efforts at Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan, consulting for Starr Vista on youth interventions, and directing the Ways to Work-MI program at Community Social Services of Wayne County, focused on financial literacy and micro loans. Suzanne earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
