Madeleine Vidger is a Staff Attorney at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, representing indigent tenants in eviction court and subsidy termination proceedings. Prior to this, Madeleine served as a Columbia University Law Fellow at The Promise of Justice Initiative, offering primary counsel in post-conviction proceedings for clients incarcerated based on non-unanimous jury convictions. Madeleine also has experience as a Rule 9 Licensed Legal Intern at University of Washington Student Legal Services, a Special Litigation Intern at Brooklyn Defender Services, and a Legal Extern at Southern Poverty Law Center. Madeleine holds a JD from University of Washington School of Law and a BA from New York University.
