Lorena Lopez, Ed.D. currently serves as an Engineering Teacher at South Texas ISD since September 2022 and a part-time lecturer in the College of Education and P-16 Integration at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Previously, Lorena Lopez worked as an Engineering Teacher at Mission CISD from September 2014 to August 2022, where responsibilities included applying instructional technology principles and curriculum design. Prior experience includes a role in Air & Ocean Exports at CEVA Logistics from October 2007 to October 2014, managing export transactions and prioritizing team tasks. Lorena Lopez earned a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (2017-2022), a Master’s Degree in Educational/Instructional Technology (2015-2017), and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from Universidad Regiomontana S.C. (2003-2006).
