Gabriel Borba is a Senior Software Engineer at SOUTH SYSTEM since March 2020, specializing in the creation of microservices using Spring Boot, domain-driven design, and AWS infrastructure, including API Gateway and SQS. Gabriel has experience in agile methodologies, database modeling, and optimization for MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as proficiency in Node.js and event-driven architecture. Previous experience includes a role as a Software Developer at PUCRS, focusing on legacy system maintenance, application development for university services, and automation of essential routines using Spring Boot and Angular. Gabriel holds a degree in Software Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, completed in 2023.
