Brian Connell, PT, DPT, serves as a Teaching Assistant for the Neurology Curriculum in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Stony Brook School of Health Technology and Management since August 2019. Connell has extensive experience in clinical settings, currently working as a Doctor of Physical Therapy and previously as a Physical Therapy Aide at South Shore Neurologic since January 2015, focusing on neurology, vestibular and balance rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and orthopedics. Academic involvement includes positions as a Clinical Lab Instructor in Human Anatomy and Physiology at Stony Brook, Graduate Student Assistant, and Administrative Teaching Assistant. Connell completed a Doctor of Physical Therapy at Stony Brook University in 2019, after earning a Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a public health concentration in 2015. Additionally, Connell contributed as Vice President of the Alternative Spring Break Outreach program at Stony Brook University, coordinating a service trip for Habitat for Humanity.
