Gary Appleton currently serves as the STEM Coordinator at South Hampshire College Group since August 2023. With extensive experience in education and engineering, Gary has been a National Vocational Qualification Assessor and Lead IQA at Eastleigh College since June 2009. Prior to this, Gary held the position of Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Ford Motor Company Limited from September 1973 to May 2009. Gary's education includes a Master of Science in Engineering and Management from the University of Portsmouth (1999-2002) and qualifications from Barking & Dagenham College (1973-1978), along with further studies at Eastleigh College (2010-2015).
