Jay Hanke is an experienced professional in the telecommunications and internet industry, currently serving as President of South Front Networks since May 2018, where the focus is on business development for Carrier Motels along a significant route from Winnipeg to Atlanta. Concurrently, Jay holds the position of Director of Business Development at Colobuilding and serves as Peering Coordinator at Quad Cities Internet Exchange, contributing to the establishment of a new cooperative internet exchange in Davenport, Iowa. Jay's prior roles include CTO and Co-Founder of Neutral Path Communications LLC, where expertise was applied in designing and operating long-haul dark fiber networks, as well as various board positions in internet exchanges such as IX West and MICE. With a foundational education in Computer Information Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato, Jay has built a diverse career that spans consulting, engineering, and business development within the broadband sector.
