Sergio Figuera has extensive experience in the broadcast and media industry, currently serving as a Freelance Producer, Editor, and Videographer at WPBT2 - South Florida PBS since November 2015. Prior to this role, Sergio spent 18 years at Discovery Communications, holding positions as Manager of Broadcast Operations, Supervisor of Broadcast Operations, and Master Control Operator. Earlier in their career, Sergio worked as a Master Control Operator at Univision from June 1996 to October 1997. Educationally, Sergio attended Miami Springs Senior High from 1983 to 1986.
