Thomas Greer is a seasoned executive in the sports industry, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of South East Melbourne Phoenix since August 2018. Greer has played a pivotal role in establishing the franchise as a high-performance team within the National Basketball League, achieving record membership and crowd attendance. Prior to this, Greer held various significant positions at the National Basketball League from October 2015 to June 2018, including General Manager of Major Events & Programs and Special Projects & Player Relations Manager, where responsibilities included strategic planning and relationship building with international basketball organizations. Additional experience includes roles at Melbourne United, FOX SPORTS Australia, and Melbourne Tigers Basketball Club, where Greer demonstrated expertise in player development, coaching, and broadcasting. Greer holds a degree in Elite Athlete Mentoring & Development, Psychology from ACAP University College and a Diploma of Fitness and Personal Training from The Victorian Fitness Academy.
