Joanne DeNaut serves as a Casting Director and Artistic Associate at South Coast Repertory since October 1990, where responsibilities include teaching the Fundamentals of Auditioning in the Professional Training Program and selecting roles for the end-of-session showcase. Additionally, since April 2007, Joanne has been a Casting Director for Special Projects at the University of Southern California, collaborating with MFA Playwrights on the casting of full-length plays for USC's New Works Project. Joanne earned a degree in Social Ecology with a focus on Urban/Environmental Planning from UC Irvine.
