Todd Schlesinger, MD is the Founder and Director of Dermatology & Laser Center of Charleston since 2005, overseeing all aspects of the business. Todd also founded and directs the Clinical Research Center of the Carolinas since 2016, focusing on dermatology clinical research. Additionally, they have held various leadership roles at the South Carolina Medical Association, Charleston County Medical Society, and the South Carolina JUA, demonstrating strong involvement in the medical community.

Todd Schlesinger, MD, completed their Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University at Buffalo from 1986 to 1990. Todd then pursued their Medical Degree at the same university from 1990 to 1994. Following this, they completed their Residency in Dermatology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation from 1994 to 1998. In 2003, they obtained a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery from the American Society for Mohs Surgery. Todd is also board-certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology.
