Maya Bharatiya is a legal professional currently serving as a Paralegal at South Carolina Legal Services since September 2023. Previously, Maya held the position of Judicial Intern at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky, where duties included assisting the Honorable Claria Horn Boom from May to July 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Summer Intern at South Carolina Legal Services in 2022, a Chapter Foundation Ambassador for Alpha Delta Pi Sorority from November 2020 to January 2022, and a Youth Mentor with Momentum Bike Clubs during the summer of 2021. Maya holds a Bachelor's degree in Politics and International Affairs and Poverty Studies from Furman University, attended the University of Vienna for further education, and graduated from Ridge High School in 2019.
