Alexandra Begg is an experienced publications manager at the SA Institute of International Affairs since November 2011, overseeing the research publications process and introducing a new Policy Insights paper to enhance the organization's offerings. Previous roles include Publisher ELT at Maskew Miller Longman Publishers, IELTS Speaking examiner at IH Johannesubrg, and Publisher/Commissioning Editor at Macmillan Education SA, where Alexandra advanced from an entry-level position due to expertise in English language teaching. Alexandra also has a background in teaching English as a Foreign Language and has served as a part-time tutor at the University of Johannesburg. Alexandra holds a BAHons degree in Applied English Language Studies from the University of the Witwatersrand.
