Avelar Marta is an experienced professional in community outreach and education, currently serving as an Enrollment & Outreach Specialist at OnLok Lifeways since October 2018, focusing on programs for seniors and disabled individuals. Previously, Avelar held the position of HICAP Program Specialist at Council On Aging Silicon Valley since December 2009, providing counseling for Medicare and MediCal. From February 1996 to February 2009, Avelar was the Director of Community Relations at Santa Clara Family Health Plan, overseeing outreach for various health programs.
