Huma Malik is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in various counselling roles. Currently serving as a Mental Health Counsellor at Ruh since September 2023 and a Peer Counsellor Support Team member at Nisa Foundation since June 2023, Huma also holds the position of Certified Counsellor at SOURCES since April 2021. Previous roles include Integrative Support Worker and Counsellor Intern at Family Services of Greater Vancouver, Child Support Worker at The KidSafe Project Society, and Intern positions at DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society and Canucks Autism Network. Huma's foundational experience was shaped by work as a Child and Youth Worker at Richmond Youth Service Agency and a Behaviour Interventionist with the Ministry of Children and Family Development. Huma holds a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Counselling from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
