Esteban Buitrago started their work experience in 2015 as a Frontend Developer at Universidad de Antioquía. Esteban then worked as a Software Engineer at IES Intelligent Electronic Solutions from May 2017 to June 2018. In 2018, they joined Cadena Apps as a Full Stack Engineer and remained in that role until December 2020. Currently, Esteban is working as a Full Stack Engineer at Source Meridian starting from December 2020.

Esteban Buitrago has a strong educational background in engineering and computer software engineering. Esteban completed their undergraduate studies at Universidad de Antioquia from 2011 to 2017, earning a degree in Electronic Engineering with a focus on Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

In 2017, they attended Make It Real, where they obtained a certification in Ruby on Rails Full Stack, further enhancing their skills in computer software engineering.

In 2021, Esteban Buitrago returned to Make It Real to pursue a specialization in Data Science with Python, indicating their interest in expanding their knowledge and expertise in the field of computer software engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Esteban Buitrago has obtained several certifications to complement their academic background. Esteban is a Scrum Master Certified (SMPC) and has also obtained the Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) certification from CertiProf. Furthermore, Esteban Buitrago holds the Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE 11 Developer certification from Oracle, showcasing their proficiency in Java programming. Lastly, they have demonstrated their language proficiency by obtaining an IELTS B2 certification from the British Council.
