Zhao Ying Cui has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2012, they joined KU Leuven as a PhD researcher in head impact biomechanics, where they worked until December 2016. In 2017, Zhao Ying Cui began working at SoundTalks NV, initially as an Engineer from March 2017 to April 2018. They then transitioned to the role of Customer Service Manager from April 2017 to April 2018. Currently, Zhao Ying Cui holds the position of Head of Operations at SoundTalks NV, starting in April 2018. Prior to all this, they worked as a semi-professional Photographer for Bailusha Photography, specializing in family, couple, animal, and wedding photography between 2007 and 2017.

Zhao Ying Cui has an education history that includes multiple institutions and fields of study.
