Jessica Helms has extensive experience in product design, starting with their current position as a Senior Product Designer at Sounding Board, Inc. Prior to that, they worked at Vintage Software, where they held various roles. As the Product Design Manager and Product Manager, they played a key role in establishing and building the product department, leading the company to become more user-centric and increasing its market value from $1.2M in 2014 to $6M in 2022. Jessica also served as the central point of contact for cross-departmental projects and facilitated successful meetings. As a Lead Product Designer, Jessica led multiple projects and delivered complex designs for various platforms. Their work in user research influenced the prioritization of features and helped achieve a high NPS score of 77. Additionally, they demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving and design creation using tools such as sketches, wireframes, flow charts, and interactive prototypes. Jessica began their career as a Customer Service Representative.

Jessica Helms completed their Bachelor of Science in Commercial Photography at Southeast Missouri State University from 2008 to 2014. Additionally, they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Graphic Arts/Print Technology at Mineral Area College from 2011 to 2013. Furthermore, in March 2022, they obtained a UX Certificate from the Nielsen Norman Group.
