Alan Segal is a seasoned professional in growth, product marketing, and audience development with extensive experience in leading analytics and strategic initiatives across various prominent organizations. Currently serving as the VP of Growth & Product Marketing at SoundCloud since November 2022, Alan previously held the role of VP of Audience Development & Analytics at CNN Digital, where the building of a comprehensive global organization contributed to CNN's status as the number one English-speaking news site. Alan's career also includes significant roles at Cox Media Group, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Knowledgestorm, and IBM, demonstrating a strong background in analytics, digital strategy, and user experience design. Alan holds a Master’s degree in Information Design & Technology from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
