Head Of Engineering at Sound Specialists

Robert Williams has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Robert began their career at Columbia College Chicago in 2008 as a Practice Room Coordinator. Afterwards, they worked at Lynn-Marcel Academy of Fine Arts as a Studio Manager/Recording Engineer. Robert then moved on to St. Paul Baptist Church as the Director of Music, where they oversaw the church's music department. In 2011, they joined MusicBox Studios as a Studio Manager/Recording Engineer, responsible for managing client portfolios and providing excellent customer service. Robert then worked at University of Chicago Medicine as a Stock Clerk Sr., handling data entry and supply management. In 2010, they became a Musician at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, taking on leadership roles in the worship services. Most recently, they have been working at Sound Specialists as the Head of Engineering, responsible for designing low voltage systems and creating proposals for clients.

Robert Williams has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Audio Design and Production from Columbia College Chicago, which they obtained by the year 2014. In terms of additional certifications, Robert obtained the following certifications: Dante Level 3 from Audinate in January 2021, Dante Level 2 Certification from Audinate in April 2019, Dante Certification Level 1 from Audinate in February 2018, Biamp VoIP from Biamp Systems in January 2018, Digital Media Certified 4K Designer from Crestron Electronics in January 2018, Tesira Forte from Biamp Systems in November 2017, Video Endpoints Technical Certification from Polycom in March 2017, and Savant Troubleshooting from Savant Systems in December 2016.
