Jiakai Guo started their work experience in 2016 at Goal Solutions as an Investments & Capital Markets professional. In 2019, they moved to T-REX as a Director for ABS Client Development. In 2022, they joined i80 Group as an Investment Professional, and in 2023, they became the Vice President of Fintech & Specialty Finance at Sound Point Capital Management, LP.

Jiakai Guo obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from UC San Diego.
