Gideon Arthurs currently serves as the Executive Director of both Soulpepper Theatre Company and Young Centre for the Performing Arts, and holds the position of Chair of the Board of Management at Yonge-Dundas Square. In addition, Gideon Arthurs is a Board Director and Chair of the Advocacy Committee for the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts, as well as a Committee Member focusing on Advocacy for the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres. Previous roles include mentorship at Business / Arts, CEO at École nationale de théâtre du Canada, and board memberships with Conseil des arts de Montréal, Culture Montréal, and Segal Centre for Performing Arts. Gideon Arthurs holds a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Studies from Brown University and has attended Harvard Business School.
