Sam Hines is the Senior Director, WW Head of Watches at Sotheby's. Prior to joining Sotheby's, Sam was at IBM from January 2015 to December 2018, where they served as a Client Executive. From January 2014 to December 2015, Sam was at Emirates, where they worked in Corporate Strategy. Prior to that, Sam was at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP from January 2011 to December 2011, where they worked in Business Development. Sam began their career at SUN Group from January 2006 to December 2010, where they were an Associate. SUN Group is a leading principal investor and private equity fund manager in Russia, India and other transforming markets. The Group has been active in areas such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Food & Beverage and Technology.

Sam Hines has a Master of Global Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, a Master of Business Administration in Finance & Marketing from Fordham Gabelli School of Business, and a BA in International Political Economy from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Sam also studied French at Université Paris Sorbonne (Paris IV).
