Mohammed Davoodi has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Mohammed is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Soteri, a position they assumed in June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Advisor at Appfire starting from March 2021.
From 2016 to 2021, Mohammed founded and served as the CEO of Mohami (Acquired by Appfire), a leading add-on provider on the Atlassian Marketplace. Mohammed successfully built and managed a team, developed 17 add-ons, and served over 10,000 companies across 100+ countries.
Before that, Mohammed worked at Space Exploration Technologies as a Flight Software Engineer and an Avionics Software Engineering Intern between 2014 and 2016. Mohammed also gained research experience at Virginia Tech, where they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant from 2011 to 2014. At Virginia Tech, they specialized in Computer Systems, C, X86 assembly, and was involved in advising and teaching undergraduate students.
In 2012, Mohammed co-founded Konkourse, a Learning Management System startup, where they led the development team and was responsible for system architecture, task breakdown, project schedule, and coding.
Additionally, they gained industry experience through software developer internships at Amazon and Freddie Mac in 2013 and 2012, respectively. At Amazon, Mohammed designed and implemented graph projection and dashboard summary for the Operational Excellence Dashboard, while at Freddie Mac, they worked as a software developer intern.

Mohammed Davoodi obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, completing their studies from 2010 to 2014.
