Alex Branchi has over 8 years of experience in the engineering and automation industry. Alex began their career in 2012 as a Mechanical Drafter at Tecno Engineering. In 2013, they moved to Elettrosystem, where they held the role of Industrial Automation Engineering. Here, Alex partnered with internal and external stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, created CAD 3D graphics, recommended process optimization, and maintained documentation for automated tasks.
In 2016, Alex worked as a Contractor across multiple hospitality organizations and production facilities in Italy and the US. In 2018, they became the Head Industrial Automation Technician at Pasta Piccinini, Inc., a Food Wholesalers Industry producing premium quality fresh pasta. Here, they interfaced with subject-matter experts and process owners for automation creation and deployment, supported existing processes, and led automation through the life cycle for completion.
Most recently, in 2021, Alex took on the role of Head Technician at Sorting Robotics.
Alex Branchi has a diverse educational background. Alex obtained a High School Diploma from IPSIA E.Fermi in 2012, specializing in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician. In 2021, they obtained the CompTIA A+ certification, followed by the VMware Certified Technical Associate - Datacenter Virtualization certification in September of 2021. In 2020, they obtained the Solidworks Associate Mechanical Design (CSWA) certification. In 2015, they acquired the Certified Stäubli Robotic Programmer certification, and in 2012, they obtained the Additive Manufacturing Associate (CSWA) certification from Dassault Systèmes. Currently, Alex is pursuing an Associate's degree in Cybersecurity from Los Angeles City College, which they are expected to complete by 2023. Alex is also scheduled to obtain the CompTIA Security+ certification in February of 2022.
