Rodney Kuhn's work experience includes co-founding Sortd Inc in 2017, where they are involved in building an "Email 2.0" startup. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as a director at Mybeat Interactive from 2000 to 2019. During this time, the company expanded to the United Kingdom and worked with various South African media companies and ad agencies. Before that, Rodney was a board member and learning chair at Entrepreneurs' Organization from 2013 to 2015.

Rodney Kuhn attended King David Linksfield from 1991 to 1995, although it is unknown whether they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study during this time. Later, they enrolled at the University of the Witwatersrand from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
