John Kowalonek has significant work experience in various roles and companies. John started their career at ObJIX Multimedia in 1992 as the Vice President of Software and Marketing and worked there until 1995. John then joined Purespeech, Inc. as the Director of Software Engineering from 1995 to 1996. From 1997 to 2000, they worked at Picturetel as a Consultant Architect. In 2000, John became the Director of Software Engineering and Chief Architect at Pyxsys Corporation, where they stayed until 2001. John then joined Groove Networks as a Consultant Architect for a period of seven months. From 2002 to 2005, they worked at eDocs as a Solutions Architect in Professional Services. In 2005, John became the President of Block Island Software, Ltd., which later changed its name to Sorriso Technologies.
