Knut J Bjuland is a seasoned software programmer currently employed at Telemark Hospital Trust since August 2023 and also serves as a researcher at Sørlandet Sykehus HF since September 2016. Prior to these roles, Knut J Bjuland was a PhD student at NTNU from July 2011 to August 2016, focusing on Freesurfer and MRI analysis, and a research assistant at the University of Bergen from January 2009 to June 2011, specializing in structural bioinformatics with peptide docking and modeling. Knut J Bjuland holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Agder, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience from NTNU, a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Bergen, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science.
