Becky Adkins has over 15 years of work experience, primarily in the field of disability support services and American Sign Language instruction. Becky worked as the Director of the Sorenson Communications, Pensacola Center from July 2018 to present. Prior to that, they held various roles at Pensacola State College, including Director of the Student Resource Center for ADA Services from July 2009 to July 2018, Adjunct Instructor of American Sign Language from July 2003 to July 2018, and Coordinator of Disability Support Services from July 2004 to June 2009.
Becky Adkins earned a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield, where they studied from 2004 to 2006. Becky later pursued a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in the same field from Capella University, completing their studies from 2013 to 2015.
