Mark Simester has a diverse work experience in various positions within the food industry. Mark started their career as an Assistant Brand Manager at Nestlé in 1994 and worked their way up to become the Head of Chocolate Business Unit on the board, responsible for managing multi-functional teams and brands. After leaving Nestlé, they joined Warburtons as the Marketing Director, overseeing strategic and operational marketing for the second largest FMCG brand in the UK. Currently, they serve as the Managing Director of Soreen.
Mark Simester completed an Executive Education program in High Performance People Skills for Leaders at London Business School in 2019. Prior to that, they earned a BA Honours Degree in Business Studies from Nottingham Trent University between 1990 and 1994. Mark'searlier education includes A Levels in Economics, Geography, English Literature, and General Studies from Altrincham Grammar School between 1983 and 1990.
