Valts Nerets is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various areas of law, currently serving as a Partner and Co-Head of the Dispute Resolution Practice at Sorainen since January 2011. In addition to this role, Valts has been a Lecturer at Riga Graduate School of Law since July 2010, specializing in Comparative Constitutional and Administrative Law, International Civil Procedure Law, and International Sales Law. Valts also served as the CEE Regional Ambassador for Arbitrator Intelligence from February 2019 to February 2020 and held the position of General Counsel at YOTA Ltd from July 2006 to December 2010. Valts holds an LL.M. with distinction from Riga Graduate School of Law and a Mg.iur. from Latvijas Universitate, further showcasing a strong academic background in law.
